EWING, N.J (1/25/25) – Five players scored in double figures as the Kean University men's basketball team dropped a New Jersey Athletic Conference contest to The College of New Jersey, 84-76 on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!

• TCNJ opened on a 18-8 run over the first five minutes.
• The Cougars answered with an 8-2 run behind five points from Adam Silas, which cut the deficit to 18-16.
• Kean went cold to finish the half as the Lions used a 25-13 run which pushed their lead to 43-28 with 3:54 remaining.
• Kean scored three of the next four buckets to bring the lead down to 45-34 at halftime.
• After trading buckets to open the second stanza, Trey Harts scored nine points and cut the lead to 57-55 with 10 minutes to play.
• Despite 13 points from Justin Morton, TCNJ proved to be very effective down the stretch, going 7-for-12 from the floor and 10-for-14 from the line.

INSIDE THE BOX

• Harts collected 15 points and nine rebounds.
• D.J. Alicea finished with 13 points and seven rebounds.
