UNION, N.J. (1/25/25) – The Kean University men's volleyball team posted 3-0 straight set sweeps over both Purchase College and the University of Mount Saint Vincent in a tri-match on Saturday afternoon.

Kean 3, Purchase 0

• The Cougars posted a .327 hitting percentage in a dominating victory that saw the entire roster get playing time.
• Kean hit over .400 and tallied just five errors across the opening two sets.
• Danny Pugliano and Owen String combined for 11 kills in a close set three victory.
• Pugliano finished with 14 kills and a .632 hitting percentage.
• Brandon Millias, David Flores, and Wady Duran combined for 35 assists.
• Tyler Quinn set a Kean single match record for digs with 26.

Kean 3, UMSV 0

• The second match saw more of the same as Kean hit just under .400 with only seven errors.
• Most of the Cougar reserves saw action in the victory.
• Kean hit .650 in the set one victory and held UMSV to a negative percentage in the second.
• The Cougars trailed late in the third set, before Flores served for five straight points to end the match.
• Dan St. Foi and Michael McSorley combined for 10 kills.
• Flores and Duran combined for 30 assists.
• Jonathan Garcia posted 11 digs.
