UNION, N.J. (1/28/25) – Danny Pugliano finished with 10 kills and a .533 hitting percentage as the Kean University men's volleyball team extended their winning streak to four games with 3-0 straight sets sweep of John Jay College on Tuesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Pugliano and Chris Mitchell combined for 10 kills as the Cougars won a tight first set, 25-22.
• In a set that saw six ties and two lead changes, Kean closed on a 4-1 run which included back-to-back kills from Pugliano and Mitchell.
• John Jay hit negative in the second set as Sean Murphy notched five digs and two kills in a 25-16 victory.
• The Cougars posted just three errors in a dominating 25-16 set three victory that saw three kills from Murphy and two apiece from both Dan St. Foi and Pugliano.

INSIDE THE BOX

• Mitchell totaled eight kills and six block assists.
• Murphy posted nine digs and eight kills.
• Nick Huzar notched 10 block assists and three kills.
• David Flores handed out 27 assists.
• Tyler Quinn added nine digs.
