NEW PALTZ, N.Y. (1/29/25) – Chris Mitchell finished with 13 kills as the Kean University men's volleyball team dropped a straight sets sweep to SUNY New Paltz, 3-0 on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!

• Mitchell notched seven kills on 10 swings in an opening set loss that saw Kean hit .148 with eight errors.
• Mitchell added four more kills in a second set that saw extra volleyball.
• The Cougars pushed the Hawks into a 27-27 tie, but a kill and service ace lifted New Paltz to victory.
• Kean was held to a .143 hitting percentage in a set that saw 13 ties and four lead changes.
• The Hawks completed the sweep, hitting .455 in a dominating set three victory.

INSIDE THE BOX

• Danny Pugliano totaled eight kills.
• Nick Huzar notched seven kills.
• David Flores and Brandon Millias posted 15 assists apiece.
• Tyler Quinn recorded eight digs.
