Union, N.J. (10/25/25) – The College of New Jersey used a strong second quarter to push past the Kean University football team, 24-7, on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

On their second possession of the game, the Lions (6-1, 3-1 NJAC) moved quickly into Cougar territory with a 50-yard reception from Ryan Gill. Later faced with a fourth-and-one inside the ten-yard line, TCNJ converted as Alex Dillie rushed eight yards for the game's first points.

Kean responded in their next possession as Rocco Pellegrini found Matt Vingara on three straight plays to gain 62 yards.  Rashan Addison finished off the drive with a nine-yard catch as Kean evened the game up at seven-all.

TCNJ later took advantage of a Kean fumble and turned the short field into seven more points on Dillie's second touchdown of the day.

The Lions closed out the half hitting a 46-yard field goal from Tim Willever as time expired.

TCNJ added insurance in the fourth quarter using an eight play, 68-yard drive, capped by Joe Visaggio's five-yard run for the game's final touchdown.
