Abington, Pa. (10/30/25) – Victoria Latino led all players with 17 kills while hitting .577 as the Kean University women's volleyball team edged Penn State-Abington, 3-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The Cougars (25-5) used a 9-3 run to push ahead for a set one win.

Tied at six-all, Penn State scored six of the next seven points to take a lead they would not relinquish in set two, tying the match up.

Kean took an early lead in the third set and used that momentum to go back up again, 2-1.

Tied at 23-all in the fourth set, Penn State's Zayna Jamaladdin recorded back-to-back kills to force a deciding fifth set.

The Cougars surged in the final set, scoring the game's final eight points, including three aces from Victoria Latino.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

Latino had a double-double adding 11 digs while recording five aces.

Aubre Adams hit .500 and registered 16 kills and setter Aspen O'Brien collected a double-double of her own as she posted 43 assists and 10 digs.
