Union, N.J. (11/15/25) - The Kean University women's volleyball team claimed the 2025 NJAC Tournament Championship by defeating Stockton University, 3-0, on Saturday evening.
With the win, the Cougars earn the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament. The title is the first for Kean since 2018.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Trailing 14-13 in the first set the Cougars (29-5) surged, scoring 11 of the next 13 points to jump out to a quick 1-0 advantage.
After trading points early in the second stanza, Kean pushed out to a 15-10 lead before dominating down the stretch with a 10-1 run.
The Ospreys (22-9) threatened in what would be the final set, taking a 20-15 lead. The Cougar battled back and tied things up on three occasions (22, 23, 24). NJAC Player of the Year Aspen O'Brien gave Kean the advantage with a kill (25-24) and Cayley Elena Morrison registered the match winner one point later.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
The Cougars hit .372 while holding the Ospreys to a .000 attack percentage.
Morrison led all players with 16 kills (.619) and four blocks. Rookie Ashley Torok added 15 kills (.500) and four digs.
O'Brien hit a perfect 1.000 with four kills while adding 34 assists and three digs.
