Brooklyn, N.Y. (11/18/25) – Brooklyn College used a strong start to hold up in a 78-61 win over Kean University on Tuesday night.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Bulldogs (3-0) jumped out to a quick 14-0 lead in the first five minutes of action, aided by eight turnovers.
The Cougars (0-2) were able to trim the deficit back to single digits early in the second quarter as Dacia Mack nailed a three-pointer (28-21), but Brooklyn responded with another 14-0 run to put the game out of reach.
The Bulldogs maintained a comfortable double-digit lead for the remainder of the contest.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
Maya Edwards led the squad with 18 points while Erika Mercedes added 14 points, nine assists and seven rebounds. Makaila Desire finished the night with 15 points.

Kean travels to Maryland for the Governors Challenge and will face Immaculata University on Saturday.
