Men’s Basketball Defeats Ramapo

UNION, N.J. (12/3/25) – Three Cougars finished in double figures as the Kean University men's basketball team defeated Ramapo College, 65-58 in New Jersey Athletic Conference action on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!
  • The Roadrunners jumped out to a 9-4 lead behind five points from Elijah Barlow.
  • Ramapo extended their lead to 22-14 behind another six points from Barlow.
  • Kean closed the half with a 14-8 run behind five points from Deaundre Clarke.
  • In the final minute, Ty Kline knocked down a triple and Malachi Jeffers-Viera made two free-throws as the Cougars pulled even at the break.
  • Kean opened the second half with a 22-8 run, including a combined 17 points from Daniel Dextraze and Jeffers-Viera.
  • The Cougars never relinquished the lead from that point forward.
  • Phil Brown Jr. notched six points down the stretch.
