Union, N.J. (2/15/25) – The Montclair State University women's basketball team defeated Kean University in their final regular season home game by the final of 80-60.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
MSU never trailed in the contact. The Cougars (11-13, 8-9 NJAC) were able to tie things up twice early and pulled the deficit into single digits twice in the third quarter, but the Red Hawks (21-3, 15-2 NJAC) shot 48%, with 40 points in the paint to control the offense.
The Cougars were hampered by turnovers, with Montclair able to convert that into 28 points.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
Brittany Graff led the Cougars with a season-high 23 points.
Maddison Vaughn finished with a double-double (21 points and 17 rebounds) for her 11th double-double of the season.
