Union, N.J. (3/26/25) – Kean University Athletics has partnered with Opendorse to create an all-encompassing Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) platform for the department.
Opendorse is the leading athlete marketplace and NIL company, providing technology and services to the athlete endorsement industry. More than 150,000 athletes use Opendorse to build and monetize their name, image, and likeness with support from hundreds of colleges and thousands of brands, fans, donors, and partners including Team USA, LEARFIELD, Keller Williams, and more.

In addition to NIL compliance, content and education, every Kean student-athlete will receive an Opendorse profile, which is customizable and able to be promoted on their personal social media platforms. Each athlete has the opportunity to review opportunities, accept deals and compensation and disclose the activity all within the Opendorse app.

As part of the partnership, Kean University will receive a branded online marketplace. Cougar fans, sponsors and donors will be able to browse, book, pitch and pay Kean student-athletes for NIL activities all in one compliant platform.
