Union, N.J. (4/22/25) – The Kean University baseball team improved to 31-5 with their last non-conference regular season game of the season, a 13-3 win over Gwynedd Mercy University in a rescheduled matchup.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
Kean jumped out to a 9-1 lead after three innings. Tyler Stone and Trevor Coltenback each recorded two RBI singles in the first while Adam Scire added his own two RBI single in the third to highlight the offense.
The Cougars made it 12-2 in the fifth with three more runs. It was Kyle Adorno's turn for a two RBI single. Kean added one more in the bottom of the eighth on a groundout to round out the scoring.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
Scire was 3-for-5 with three runs scored and a double while Dylan Falk was 2-for-4 with an RBI.
Six pitchers saw action on the mound as Noah Rivera earned the win in relief. He tossed one and two thirds scoreless innings.
