PITMAN, N.J. (5/1/24) – Ella Petrosh has been named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Rookie of the Year as the Kean University women's lacrosse team earned three All-Conference selections.

Drew Coyle was a first team selection, while Jenn Koval and Petrosh were honorable mention selections.

Petrosh earns Rookie of the Year honors and her first All-NJAC selection after totaling 38 draw controls, 31 groundballs, 23 caused turnovers, nine goals and one assist over 14 games. She becomes just the third Cougar in program history to earn Rookie of the Year honors joining teammate Savannah Olsson (2024) and Emily Bretschneider (2019). Petrosh was a three-time NJAC Rookie of the Week selection. She also becomes the first athlete in Kean history to be named Conference Rookie of the Year in two different sports. The Rookie was named NJAC Women's Soccer Rookie of the Year in the fall.

Coyle earns her first All-NJAC selection after totaling 44 groundballs, 37 caused turnovers, 10 draw controls, two goals and one assist over 14 games.

Koval earns her third straight All-NJAC honorable mention selection after totaling 29 groundballs and 25 caused turnovers over 14 games.
