UNION, N.J. (5/27/25) – Jason Gilman was named Region IV Pitcher of the Year, while Head Coach Neil Ioviero was tabbed Region IV Coach of the Year as the Kean University baseball team had four selected to the 2025 D3Baseball.com Region IV All-Region teams.

Gilman was a first team selection with Jason Basilicata. Kyle Adorno was a second team selection, while Tyler Stone was named to the third team.

Gilman makes his first all-region appearance and becomes the first player in program history to take home a regional award from D3baseball. The NJAC Pitcher of the Year and first team selection has posted a 2.09 ERA with a 13-1 record and 136 strikeouts over 103 1/3 innings pitched across 14 appearances. The senior led the nation in strikeouts and wins along with setting single season records in the same categories.
 
Ioverio earns his first regional coaching award from D3Baseball after leading the Cougars to a 40-9 record and their first appearance in the College World Series in over a decade.
Basilicata makes his first all-region appearance. The NJAC Fireman of the Year posted a 1.96 ERA with a 4-1 record and 46 strikeouts over 41 1/3 innings pitched across 20 appearances.

Adorno makes his first all-region appearance. The All-NJAC selection hit .398 with 72 hits, 57 runs scored, 36 RBI's, 31 stolen bases, eight doubles, six triples and two homeruns over 47 games.

Stone makes his second straight all-region appearance. The All-NJAC selection hit .344 with 63 hits, 46 runs scored, 40 RBI's, 13 doubles, 10 stolen bases, five triples and four homeruns over 49 games.
