Collegeville, Pa. (9/13/25) – Ursinus College used a strong second quarter to push past the Kean University football team, 42-14 on Saturday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Bears (2-0) took a 7-0 lead after one quarter, but surged in the next 15 minutes, scoring on each possession in the frame to pull ahead 35-0 at the break.
Kean (1-1) scored on their first drive of the third quarter marching 75 yards on 15 plays, capped with a five-yard reception by Christian Bujno.
The Cougars added one more score midway through the fourth quarter as Bujno pushed Kean into the redzone with a 37-yard catch. Kevin Mayfield sealed the drive with an eight-yard dash.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
Bujno had eight catches for 101 yards. Michael Beers led the defense with 10 tackles.
