UNION, N.J. (1/14/26) - Junior Jason Basilicata has been tabbed a D3Baseball.com second team Preseason All-American.

The relief pitcher was named a fourth team All-American and a Region IV first team selection in the spring as the Cougars earned a trip to the College World Series.

Basilicata finished last season with a 2.18 ERA with 48 strikeouts and nine saves over 45 innings pitched.

The junior becomes the first player in program history to be named a Preseason All-American.
