HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (1/22/26) – The Centenary University women's wrestling team needed a criteria tie breaker to defeat the Kean University women's wrestling team 25-24 on Thursday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!

• Daphne Edwards and Gianna DeThomas each earned a forfeit at 103 and 110 respectively.
• Kaydence Oakley earned five points at 124 with a forfeit victory.
• The Cyclones notched the next three matches with two forfeit victories and a victory by fall.
• Kaylee Borge earned five points at 160 with a victory by fall over Desirae Garcia.
• The Cougars ended their scoring when Hillary Toro Medina posted a victory by superiority at 207.
• Notched at 24 all, the match came down to tie breaker criteria which saw the Cyclones prevail on being the first to score points in the dual.
• Points scored, fouls, pins, falls and technical falls were used in the tie breaker.

• Saturday's matches at the McDaniel quad have been canceled due to the upcoming snow storm. The Cougars will now travel to Delaware Valley on Jan. 29^th.
