PITMAN, N.J. (2/17/26) – The Kean University softball team has been tabbed fifth in the New Jersey Athletic Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll.

Rowan led the poll with nine first place votes, while TCNJ was slotted second with one first place vote. Ramapo rounded out the top three, while Stockton was placed just ahead of the Cougars at fourth.  The rest of the poll is as follows: Montclair State, William Paterson (Dark Horse), Rutgers-Newark, Rutgers-Camden and New Jersey City.

The Cougars open the season hosting Muhlenberg on Tuesday, Feb. 24th.
