UNION, N.J. (2/7/26) – Daniel Dextraze finished with 21 points and 12 rebounds as the Kean University men's basketball team earned a 65-49 victory over Rutgers-Camden on Senior Day.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!

• The Cougars fell into an early 13-5 hole with nine points coming from Cameron Downs.
• Kean answered with a 16-8 run to take their first lead of the game at 21-19 on a Dextraze's driving layup.
• The Cougars finished the half on a 10-0 run over the final three minutes.
• Kean opened the second stanza with a 11-6 run behind five points from Malachi Jeffers-Viera.
• The Cougars remained in control for the rest of the game as Jeffers-Viera and Dextraze combined for 23 second half points.

INSIDE THE BOX

• Jeffers-Viera totaled 15 points.
• Kareem Irby posted 10 points.
• Braelen Crump notched eight points and eight rebounds.
