ANNADALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. (3/4/26) – Chris Mitchell finished with nine kills and became just the second player in program history to record 1000 career kills as the Kean University men's volleyball team swept Bard College, 3-0 in straight sets on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!

• Mitchell put away five kills as the Cougars hit .462 and never trailed in a 25-21 set one victory.
• The senior would hit the milestone with  Kean's first point of the second stanza.
• Sean Murphy, Danny Pugliano, and Tonio Guglietta combined for no errors as Kean hit .308 in a dominating set two victory.
• In the final set, Kean hit over .300 in a 25-16 victory that saw six ties and three lead changes.

INSIDE THE BOX

• Aidan Flinn totaled seven kills and six digs.
• Murphy and Caden Krzyzak notched six kills apiece.
• David Flores totaled eight kills.
• Mitchell joins Kean Hall of Famer Steve Valhalla as the only Cougars in program history to reach 1000 kills. Valhalla is the program leader at 1,234.

UP NEXT

• Kean will make a Spring Break Trip to the Golden State next week. The Cougars open with nationally-ranked Cal Lutheran on Sunday.
