THOUSAND OAKS, CALIF. (3/8/26) – Chris Mitchell finished with 12 kills, nine digs and three blocks assists as the Kean University men's volleyball team opened their West Coast Trip with a 3-1 loss to #5 Cal Lutheran University at the Cal Lu Fornia Invitational on Sunday.  

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!

• After dropping set one, the Cougars hit .294 in a 25-21 set two victory.
• Mitchell posted five kills along with three apiece from both Aidan Flinn and Sean Murphy.
• The Kingsmen took the final two sets as Kean was held to a .000 and .111 hitting percentages, respectively.

INSIDE THE BOX

• Murphy totaled nine kills and 10 digs.
• Flinn posted eight kills.
• Danny Pugliano totaled seven kills.
• David Flores totaled a double-double with 31 assists and 12 digs.
• Tyler Quinn collected 10 digs.
