Galloway, N.J. (4/9/26) – Montclair State won the see-saw battle on Friday afternoon to even the season-series, winning today by the final of 8-6.
After falling behind 1-0, Jude Clough evened things up with a solo homer.
Later trailing 2-1, the Cougars pulled ahead 3-2 as Clough connected on an RBI single and Cole McGourty lofted a sac fly.
MSU quickly responded with four runs in the fourth to take the lead back (6-3). Again, Kean responded and tied things up at six-all as Tyler Stone recorded a bases-loaded walk and McGourty registered a two RBI single.
The Red Hawks responded again, this time for good with two runs in the fifth.
Clough was 2-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBI while McGourty was 1-for-3 with three RBI.
Kean returns home to face William Paterson on Saturday.
