Union, N.J. (4/23/26) – Rutgers-Camden scored in all but two innings to push past the Kean University baseball team by the final of 14-5 on Thursday afternoon in NJAC action.
Leading 5-4 going into the fifth inning, the Scarlet Raptors plated four to push out to a comfortable advantage. With two outs and one runner already home, Rutgers-Camden connected on four straight singles to push ahead 9-4.
The Scarlet Raptors added two unearned runs in the sixth and added one more in the seventh to put the game out of reach.
Kean recorded 13 hits overall and was led by Dominic Masino who was 3-for-5 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI.
Jude Clough was 3-for-4 with an RBI while Santino Czarecki was 2-for-3.
Mason Blizzard led Rutgers-Camden with four RBI while Ryan Joseph was 4-for-6 with four runs scored and two doubles.
The two teams square off again tomorrow in Camden.
