Men’s Soccer Draws with NYU

NEWARK, N.J. (9/12/26) – Juan Orozco made nine saves as the Kean University men's soccer team played to a scoreless draw with the NYU Violets at NJIT's Mal Simon Stadium on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!
  • The Violets kept the defense on their heels all match to the tune of 33-5 on shots.
  • NYU also failed to convert on any of their 16 corners.
  • Orozco along with the backline proved to be clutch as the senior netminder turned away six shots over the final 20 minutes.
  • The Cougars also finished the final 25 minutes with a man down after Jonathan Rojas was sent off.
