Two Second Half Goals Vaults Vassar Past Field Hockey

UNION, N.J. (9/16/26) – Two second half goals lifted the Vassar College Brewers to a 2-0 victory over the Kean University field hockey team on Wednesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!
  • Sophia Jammar put the Brewers on the board in the 36th minute, finishing at the near post.
  • The Cougars had a chance to equalize the game but failed to capitalize on a penalty stroke that was awarded after a video review.
  • Vassar added to their lead in the fourth when Mackenzie Allen dribbled into the circle and scored in traffic.
