Box Score NEWARK, N.J. (3/27/24) – Rajheem Meulens totaled 12 kills as the Kean University men's volleyball team dropped both an NJAC and CVC conference matches with a 3-1 loss to Rutgers-Newark on Wednesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!

• The Cougars were held to a negative hitting percentage, while Martin Chromulak and Aleks Kolodziej combined for nine kills as Newark took set one, 25-20.
• Danny Pugliano posted four kills during a set two loss that saw the Scarlet Raiders hit .345.
• Meulens and Luke Frakenfield combined for nine kills as the Cougars posted a .286 hitting percentage in the 25-22 victory.
• Newark dominated the final set with a .379 hitting percentage and a combined 12 kills from Lucas Blanco and Chromulak.  

INSIDE THE BOX

• Frankenfield totaled 16 assists, nine kills, nine digs.
• Pugliano and Michael Henneberry both notched six kills apiece.
