GREENSBORO, N.C. (3/21/25) – Braelyn Wilson was named a First Team All-American after a sixth-place finish in the 100 Back on the third day of the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships in Greensboro.
Wilson placed sixth in the morning's prelims with a time of 55.10, which earned her a spot in tonight's championship final.
In final, Wilson placed sixth with a time of 55.25, ahead of Rowan's Ella Pennington (55.49).
That finish secures her a first team All-American selection, which becomes the first in program history.
Wilson was also named a Second Team All-American after a 13
th place finish in Wednesday's 50 Free.
"Earning First Team All-American honors as a freshman is a huge achievement and a testament to the hard work Braelyn put in all season. What make this even more special is that it's our first ever top eight podium finish at the NCAA's".
