Wrapping Up: Football 2024

UNION, N.J. (4/10/25) – The Kean University football team went 2-8 overall and 2-4 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference under Head Coach Dan Garrett in his 19th season at the helm of the Cougars.

Season Highlights

Posted a 2-8 overall record
Recorded a 2-4 record in the NJAC
Opened NJAC play with a 2-0 record after defeating William Paterson and Montclair State.
Kean rallied to defeat William Paterson and beat Montclair State with an 88 yard PAT return.
Four NJAC Weekly Selections
Eight All-NJAC Selections, including two first teamers.
Two All-ECAC Selections.
Five CSC Academic All-District Selections.
