Oliveira Dos Santos Nets Brace in 2-1 Win Over Felician JV

JERSEY CITY, N.J. - Beatriz Oliveira Dos Santos scored a goal in each half to glide Kean Jersey City past Felician's JV squad on Saturday, September 19. 

Kean Jersey City notched the opening goal of the game with just two minutes left in the first half when Oliveira Dos Santos used her speed to get by the Golden Falcons' back line and beat Felician's keeper to change the halftime talks. Felician held the shots edge headed into the break but trailed on the scoreboard after the late heroics by Oliveira Dos Santos. 

Felician didn't waste any time after the break and quickly tied the game at one when La Bletta sent a through ball over the top which landed on the foot of Balas who put it off of the post and in the net. The Cougars remained on their heels, absorbing attack after attack by the Golden Falcons, waiting for their opportunity to strike and when that window opened they capitalized. Somaia Roman found herself with space along the left flank before slotting a through ball between defenders to a surging Oliveira Dos Santos. When the connection was made, Oliveira Dos Santos flew past her opposition and curled a shot into the back of the net to put her squad ahead for good.
