Pitman, N.J. (11/10/25) – Junior Cayley Elena Morrison has been tabbed as the New Jersey Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week as announced by the conference office.

Morrison earned the final NJAC Defensive Player of the Week recognition of the 2025 regular season after recording eight blocks across two victories. She averaged 1.60 blocks per set to help Kean clinch the NJAC regular season title and top seed in the upcoming conference tournament. The junior posted five blocks in a 3-0 sweep of Montclair State in the conference regular season finale before adding three more in a 3-1 nonconference victory over Sarah Lawrence. Morrison also contributed 17 kills on a .387 clip and scooped five digs as the Cougars extended their winning streak to 10 matches.

At the conclusion of the regular season, Morrison leads all NJAC players in hitting percentage (.381) and blocks (1.10/set).
