Melissa Beyruti is Kean’s all-time leading scorer and was a three-time MVP of a program that went to three NCAA Elite 8’s. She won two D’Angola Awards and is mentioned seven times in the NCAA Division III Women’s Basketball Record Book. She retired as the NCAA’s all-time leader in both three-pointers and games played. She was a part of three NJAC titles, was a three-time WBCA All-American and two-time D3Hoops.com All-American.

She still holds the Kean University records for most three-pointers in a game (10) and most three-pointers in a season (110). Her record of 1,974 career points is 40% higher than the next closest Cougar (1,417) – making her an amazing statistical outlier.
