Noelle Meeke is unquestionably the most acclaimed female soccer player in Kean University history. This native of Ireland was a three-year letter winner and was the driving force behind perhaps the most successful era in women's soccer history. Her long list of accolades includes selection to the All-NJAC squad three consecutive years, from 1995 to 1997. Meeke was also a two-time NJAC Player of the Year and was twice named All-America, including first-team honors in 1996.
Although is has been nine years since Meeke last stepped foot on the pitch for the Cougars, she remains the current program record holder for most career points and goals, with 164 and 69, respectively. Meeke, who also holds the top two single-season totals of points and goals, led the Cougars to their last NCAA Tournament appearance in 1996.
Meeke graduated in 1999 with a bachelor's degree in Physical Education. She currently resides in East Taunton, Mass.
